Matala, categories are not showing

  Hello, I wish to use the new Matala appareance on my blog but the list of the categories does not appear, neither on the left (as shown in your ad) nor on the horizontal bar. How do I make the title categories visible on my page?
  Is it possible also to change the plain white background color of the text? How?

  To make categories appear, add the categories widget to your sidebar using the Appearance → Widgets page.

  To use categories in the top navigation, or horizontal bar, use a custom menu.

  To change the content area background color from plain white or to change the color of the text, you can use the optional paid upgrade for Custom Design upgrade.
