Matala Page Menu (Skewed Font)

    Hello,

    I’m trying to customize the Matala theme to straighten out the top page menu font (don’t want it skewed). Can someone help me with what portion of the code I have to customize?

    When I go into the customization it turns the background into a yellow and does not have the background image I uploaded.

    I can find nothing in the CSS to produce this so I have to assume that it it done in the underlying theme PHP script files, which we cannot access.

    On another note, have you tried scrolling your site? The background and the area for the menu are fixed (background declaration) so your menu and content scroll right across it.

    Thanks for the reply. It seems when I “Don’t use Matala’s CSS, and replace everything with my own CSS and then cut and paste the “View the original stylesheet” into the CSS it takes it out for some reason.

    I’m no expert in CSS mind you. Just a trial and error thing with me.

    Pasting the entire stylesheet into the CSS edit box can cause all sorts of issues here and it could be that it “broke” whatever causes the menu to be “skewed.” The thing is I went through the original CSS from one end to the other and could find nothing that would be responsible for this. In fact to do this sort of thing in a normal theme strictly through CSS would require you to specifically target and position each individual menu item. If you added new, or rearranged menu items, you would have to go back in and adjust the CSS for them all again.
