    l have not launched site because I can’t pay as l thought it is free

    Hi there,

    It is possible to launch your site as a “free” site, but to do so requires that you continue to use the free “wordpress.com” site address.

    It is not possible for free sites to use a custom address like eduscience.com, so the reason you are being asked to upgrade in this case is because you would need one of our plans (the Personal Plan being the most affordable) in order to complete your domain transfer.

    A free domain transfer is included in the purchase of any of our plans, so there is no additional charge. However, to proceed with your custom site URL will require that you first upgrade to the Personal plan. Once you are upgraded we’re happy to walk you through the process of getting your domain transferred over to us so you can launch your site at that URL.
