Mature Blog
-
There used to be a simple way to have my own blog marked as “mature” by reporting the blog and ticking the box that said “mature content”, and it was done instantly, but now WordPress have made it impossible to do that as they have changed everything, and now I can only report specific things (gambling, sexual content etc) that have nothing to do with just wanting to have a mature blog. How do I get my blog marked as mature now, or have WordPress made that impossible now unless someone else reports it?

You find all info and how to report your site in our extensive documentation at https://wordpress.com/support/mature-content/
-
You haven’t helped at all, because that is exactly what I already clicked on, and as already explained, everything is different now.

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching – I can see this action has worked. To check, are you looking to make the site private?
Happy to steer you in the right direction.

No, I don’t want a private site, I want a “mature” site, and I used to be able to mark my own blogs as mature, but now everything has changed as mentioned above, and I am unable to report my own blog as mature.

This is an email I received on another account when I reported my blog as “mature” in two simple steps (I have removed my email address). It used to be possible to just report your blog as having “mature” content, and it would be marked as such, but now, as I have already explained, I have only certain options to report other people’s blogs. I want my blog as “mature”, why have you now made this difficult?

Hi there,
It seems that our Terms of Service team has changed the process for reporting sites and may have removed that option. For now I’ve contacted them to ask for clarification and I’m happy to update you when we know more.
In the meantime, do you wish to mark lonegad.wordpress.com as mature? Staff is able to do this for you so please let us know how you would like to proceed, thanks!
