  My website is designed to promote my up and coming podcast, which is for mature audiences. Is there a way to block under age profiles from viewing it, or do I just put up a warning that the content is 18+ on the home page? This is a free account for now.

  Hi there,

  We don’t offer any age verification feature on WordPress.com. So I’d suggest creating a static front page, and adding a notice there.

  Beyond that, please also self-report your site as mature, as explained at the link above, and it will be hidden from public areas on WordPress.com like the Reader and tag listings. People will still be able to follow your site via the Reader, but they won’t be able to discover it via a Reader search or via suggested posts there.

  Your site will still be discoverable via search engines, and you’ll be able to share it to your social media accounts – setting it to mature doesn’t affect those features.
