Mature Content
-
Hi! My name is Mike. I work at a sex store in London and we are looking to publish our online shop with wordpress. However, before we go ahead and we purchase a plan and design the site, I would like to run something by you:
Since we are an erotic products store, there will be mature content on our website. I realize we have to report the website as ‘mature content’ on your website, which of course is not a problem. There will be photos of genitalia however we are not looking to post photos of sexual intercourse/penetration to further comply with your policy.
However, there is a photo that I would like to run by you. It is a photo that – to our knowledge – complies with your policy, however we want to make sure of that. This photo is ‘as far as it goes’ with the online content we would provide. I did not attach this photo to this email yet because I am not looking to impose this on anyone.
Can I send one sample photo to you to confirm that it would comply with your policy? If it does, we can go ahead and purchase the plan.
Thank you very much !
Mike
I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

Hello Mike,
Many thanks for reaching out – first of all, I have applaud the approach here, it’s very prudent and sensible!
For this, you would need to create a site on WordPress.com, which you can do for free, set the site to private ( https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/#privacy-options ), upload the photo the media library, and then this via this form here: https://wordpress.com/abuse/ whereby our terms of service team can advise.
It looks like you’ve already seen our terms of service, but here’s some guidance regarding mature content for good measure: https://wordpress.com/support/mature-content/
I hope this helps.
