Max. Execution Time error

  I am trying to install a demo for a template. I keep getting the error:

  Max. Execution Time: Currently: 30 (the minimum required 60s)

  And the demo won’t install. How do I increase the time? I have tried a plugin, which hasn’t helped.

  Is this happening on a site hosted on the servers here at WordPress.com, or is the site hosted somewhere else?

  If it’s hosted somewhere else, please contact your hosting provider for support – they should be able to increase the max_execution_time for you.

  If the site is hosted on the servers here at WordPress.com, please post a link to it.

  This is hosted on wordpress. I am trying to build my site.

  Sorry, this is the first time I am doing this, what link do you need? Domain? Melfitzsimmons.co.uk

  Hi,

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider. Based on @garysixtyeight’s advice, I’d suggest contacting your hosting provider. :)
