Maximum Photo Upload Limit Reached?

  I am getting an error message not allowing me to upload any more photos to my blog. Have I reached the maximum capacity for photos? If not, how may I configure my settings to allow for more media? If yes, how can I upgrade my site to allow for more space? I deleted photos from an older post to make room for today’s article. I would like to post again early next week. Please advise. Thank you!

  First go to Media > Library and tell us what it says under the heading (“You are currently using …”).

  Ah! It says, “Looks like you have used 3.0 GB of your 3.0 GB upload limit (100%). Since you are close to your limit, you might want to consider purchasing a Space Upgrade.” I just upgraded. Thank you so much!!

  You’re welcome.
  You’ve been wasting your storage space by uploading huge files. Try not to keep doing this: you should downsize copies of your images via an image editing application or olnine tool, and upload and insert those copies.
