Maximum upload on blog?
-
Hello people, while adding my photos to my blog I am receiving this error message:
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
Maximum upload file size: 4MB
I haven’t added many pictures or videos so far on my blog so I don’t know why it’s saying this. Do I need to delete anything to make room?
Very confused.
Cheers

I’m pretty sure you are self-hosted, but I will mention one thing. Uploading images over 4mb in size for use in your blog is a really bad idea since a good number of people on the internet are still on connection speeds at 1.5mbps or less and files that size will take forever to load and people simply will not wait.
The maximum file size in my opinion is 100k, and 75 or 50k is even better. The search engines take into account page loading times and actual total page size (including images) when they determine search engine ranking, and with 4mb files, they will throw your blog down a well.
