May I use ALL the Pilcrow layouts in one site?

  VERY new to WordPress.com and have selected the Pilcrow Theme BECAUSE it offered 6 layouts and four color themes – visible in theme options. Have searched my question for hours :-( and it is this. Does selecting a Default Layout and Color mean that those choices are now universal throughout the entire site and no other layout or color may be used on that particular site? Seems so because under edit template, the only choices are Default Template, Links, Archives and One Column – No Sidebar. I was hoping that I could use ALL the Pilcrow layouts and set different layouts to different pages.

  Yes, the layout choices are for the entire site, though there are few page templates that you could choose from for specific pages.

  Thank you sincerely for your reply – but sadly, I really didn’t understand it. In the first half of the sentence, are you saying that I can use all 6 layouts in my site? If so, how do I access them? I just couldn’t understand the second half of your sentence at all. Please be more specific with me. With appreciation, Mary

  When you choose a layout from Appearance -> Theme Options, it will affect the entire site. There is no per-page option besides the individual page templates selected when writing or editing a page.
