May you please add the J A Mortram theme to your theme collection?

  Hi I’ve been looking for a theme to suit my photoblog and nothing comes close to the J A Mortram theme.

  Please see theme as used – http://smalltowninertia.co.uk

  Looked through all the themes on wordpress.com and unfortunately cannot find a suitable alternative. I am requesting to have this theme made available on the wordpress.com theme collection. It’s unique from all the themes currently on there.

  The J A Mortram theme has already been made available, free for use on wordpress.org.

  Hoping to get a response to this. Thank you!

  I have moved this topic to the Ideas forum where staff will see your suggestion for a new theme to add to the collection of themes already adapted for WordPress.com.

  If there are specific features you love about the theme you suggested, then this would be the place to describe in detail what you love about it and why it would be a good addition to wp.com.

  The J A Mortram theme

  -Perfect for photoSTORIES, not just photoblogs
  -Each story comes with a number of photos that we want displayed in a clean format
  -Each photo after a specific part of the story and not as one chunk gallery, this theme does that perfectly
  -Layout of posts ensures stories are as compelling as they can be
  -Captions under each photo in the post page
  -Option to share story and post comments plus included search bar
  -Layout of each post as seen on the homepage is straight to the point and makes sense beginning with the title then date, photo and quote
  -Layout focuses both on the featured photo and a quote from the story, perfect
  -One column is clean, a lot of white space to keep the focus on content which ultimately is what the site is all about

  I don’t see anything like this in the current wp.com theme collection. This theme will get our photo stories across the best way possible. At the same time, maintaining a simple, clean layout that I’m sure wp.com values. It would definitely be a good addition as it opens a new avenue to present compelling stories.

  Excellent presentation! I’ll modlood this thread. There is no gaurantee whether staff will work on adapting this theme or not. You could subscribe to be notified of a response. It looks good to me, but I’m only a volunteer…

  I hope this great theme gests on wordpress.com soon. It is one of the best i have seen. It is just perfect for telling great photo stories. Just what i have been dreaming of.
