Maybe I got ripped off…? A Memoir of the Intelectually Devoid
-
Okay, well I’m starting to think about lighting myself on fire ( Okay, Maybe Not )…
Alright my problems in order… Aside from the fact that Im a narcissistic person with Self Esteem Issues (Yea….)
Anyways!
Okay I wanted to host a blog on my own domain 1-px.com ( Haha I own a 4 letter domain name! ).
So I did the installation with godaddy it installed everything to the root folder that 1-px was pointing at. ( Seems good here )
Then for some crazy reason I COME TO WORDPRESS.COM AND PAY 10!!!! Was I suppose to do this? Do I manage my blog on 1-px.com from the adminstration panel here?
If I am how do I manage Plugins or do I upload first… then manage later…
I’m not sure if the namesavers have been updated to point here yet, which is a huge problem as well. Thanks for help in advance
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Also I apologize if you find my sense of humor offensive. Im just really immature and it’s how I express myself.
Instead of blowing up in rage I’d rather make it into a joke

Alright, I think when people who are not familiar with computers see extensions like .php, MySql, and a bunch of different things we have no clue about we get intimidated and create a block. Unfortunately, I am not as unintelligent as I thought just because i don’t know what a Side Server is, but I think I got it now.
Thanks To Everyone Who Helped, I appreciate it!

Have you read the two sticky threads at the very top of the forum, including the one called “8 Things to Know Before Posting in the Forum”? If not, do that now.
-
One: Im a customer
Two: A forum is pretty much a way to outsource a bunch of customer service work to lackeys.
Three: Didn’t get it? -
It sounds like you have paid for domain mapping to an existing domain
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/If that’s correct then this applies:
How do I get FTP access to my domain?
Registering a domain does not get you FTP access to your blog or domain.Domains registered at WordPress.com do not get a hosting account like you might get at other registrars or hosting companies. You should use the Media Library in your blog to manage files instead. From: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/ -
no FTP access to wordpress.com blogs http://support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
no plugins on wordpress.com blogs http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/I think you made a mistake. With WordPress.com the hosting and managing of the software is taken care of by the team here at Automattic. With WordPress.org you need to install the software on your own server or with a 3rd party provider.
Please read this and see http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

@tylerdeardon The forum is manned by volunteer bloggers – if you want help, stay civil. And be concise.

When I click this username I arrive on a blog with this title and tagline:
Tyler Deardon: Expert Internet Marketer
Internet Marketing SuperstarThose words in the title and tagline combined with his words in other threads https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/tylerdeardon and in this thread about installation with godaddy to the root folder, Administration panels and plugins, etc. lead me to believe he has made a mistake, and actually wants to be a self hosting wordpress.org blogger, but I could be wrong.

@raincoaster
Yes, I got that. When the OP became insulting I chose to politely lay out everything the step by step to see if that would bring forth an appropriate response. I’m glad this thread is now marked “resolved”. -
Interesting: your response to rudeness is to become more helpful, while mine is to suspend assistance until they’ve apologized.
