McKinley Header Image Insely Cropped on Mobile, and some other smaller issues
-
I just moved my site in to the McKinley theme and so far I’m really liking it. I’ve been able to do a few small customizations to it but I have a few issues that go beyond my limited CSS knowledge.
First, my header image is insanely cropped on my iPhone. More than 2/3 is missing. I have applied this CSS, thinking it would help, but it has not. I feel like I’m missing something very basic:
#masthead.site-header { height: 275px; }The smaller issues:
1. Is there any way to get the navbar to center horizontally?
2. I’d like to decrease the margins in the main content area.
3. I wouldn’t mind moving my copyright notice to the very bottom of the page where the McKinley Theme and WordPress links are located. Is this even possible on a WordPress.com site with Premium membership?

Hello there,
We bloggers do not have access to the template files underlying our themes on wordpress.COM hosted blogs and cannot edit them. This is a multiuser blogging platform. All blogs wearing the same theme use the same underlying template found on the live demo site for each theme.

No. Customize allows you to edit fonts, colors, and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup or PHP code. If you require this functionality, please consider moving your blog to a web host that supports theme code modifications. You can read more about why here http://support.wordpress.com/code/, and find a suitable host here http://get.wp.com/hosting/.

My mistake… I believe I have posted this in the wrong forum. I meant to post this in CSS Customization, not themes…
