mcrypt installation issue

  Dear
  I am getting error ‘PHP extension mcrypt is missing’ while installing Softaculous software Open Source, details below:
  ‘
  Open Source Social Network also known as OSSN is a social networking software written in PHP.
  Open Source Social Network allows you to make a social networking website, helps your members build social relationships with people who share similar professional or personal interests.
  ‘
  Please provide basic help, e.g. if some commands are to be performed then which platform, which window those commands need to be inputted.

  Need help regarding this installation or any turnaround to install this. I have basic knowledge of coding.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
