.me has hijacked our site.

    I handle several websites and am having trouble with one of them. galeborgerbooks.com is a main site. It says that a year ago we purchased galeborgerbooks.me. I can find no record of this purchase, or any reason why we would have done this.

    I can also find no explanation as to how it has taken over everything when that is not what we want. The .me has expired and we have no intention of renewing as it is useless. the .com is listed in the dashboard as the primary, yet the .me error keeps coming up. Even when I try to view galeborgerbooks.wordpress.com it shows the .me error.

    THis is ridiculous and I need to know how to get the .me off the account and get it all back to the way it is supposed to be.

    Hi Karen,

    galeborgerbooks.me was registered on Mar 13, 2013 and automatically renewed on Feb 12, 2014. However, it was registered by another one of the other administrators on your site:

    https://galeborgerbooks.wordpress.com/wp-admin/users.php

    This is why it was not giving you the option to view the domain’s settings. Domains can only be maintained by the domain owner.

    Since the domain is expired, I’ve removed it from the site and the warning will be removed with it.
