Meaning of facebook share

  I am a blogger on your site. Below my blogs there are badges like linkedin, facebook, twitter. On these icons there is a number. What does this mean ?

  Does it mean that so many people have shared my blog on their own social media ?

  Pls guide.

  That’s exactly what it means. And no, there’s no way to know who the people are who shared your posts, unless they choose to mention you while sharing and you have an account on that service.

  For Twitter (if you have your own account) you can specify a username that should be included when people tweet your posts. In that case, you will be notified each time someone tweets your post. You can do that under Settings ->Sharing in the dashboard.
