  How can I add an image caption to an image inside of a media and text block?

  Hi there,

  The Media & Text block does not support image captions. This is how the block was designed.

  I found an open issue for this in the GitHub repository for the block editor at https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/14604, but reading through that it doesn’t seem likely that support for captions will be added to this block anytime soon.

  The suggested workaround there, if you want captioned images next to text, is to use a columns block instead. You can find details on how that block works here:
