Media Attachment Page
-
Where can I change the look of the “Attachment Page” for a Media Picture? When I click on “View Attachment Page” – I see another picture at the bottom. I would only like the chosen image to be displayed, and possibly add a custom background. Link: http://babygirlnews.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=442

Hi Michael – the image doesn’t currently link to the attachment page, but rather to a custom link you’ve set up:
http://babygirlnews.wordpress.com/2013/09/07/happy-birthday-chandra/chandra/I’m not sure what your ultimate goal is with this, but there are four options for where media files link:
“None” will remove the link completely.
“Media File” will link the image to its original, full-size version.
“Attachment Page” will link the image to its attachment page. You can also set up a custom link to any other page, post, or website, as you have done. You can read more about the image settings here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/
I don’t know of any way to style the individual attachment pages, but there is a setting option to add a description to show on the attachment page:
