Media & attachment URLs

    Hello. Yesterday, 04/24/2019, I was doing a Google search for a website that I maintain through WordPress. I noticed that image file links were showing up during my search. Today, I went to ‘Media & attachment URLs’ to switch off the ‘Show Media in search results?’. However, WordPress seems to switch on, and stay in that position. Is there a reason as to why this is the case? Is there a way so that the image file links do not show up in a Google search? Please contact me when you get the chance. Take care.

    Hi Geoffrey,

    The account you are contacting us from hasn’t created a site on WordPress.com yet, what is the address of the one you are working on?

    If you are using WordPress.org software with another host, the WordPress.org support forums will be the best place to ask for advice.

    I can check whether the site is hosted with us if you aren’t sure.
