media button is gone from sidebar

  I went to upload a photo using simple uploader, i hit uplaod, i was taken back to my dashboard, and now there is no media button so i cant add pictures. in both safari and firefox there is no media button. please tell me what to do to fix this. thanks

  ok i see now that i have a comment in my dashboard that says contact wordpress we have issues about content, i havent even set up my blog yet!
