Media. Can I retrieve uploaded photos?

  Uploaded photos have vanished from all but two blog postings — my first and my most recent. Before most recent posting, I cleared almost all photos from media file, including the one from my first posting. Is that the problem? If so, why does photo remain in my first posting?

  Hi, there.

  If you deleted the images from your media library, they will no longer show up on your site. There’s no way to retrieve them once deleted. Here’s some more information.

  It looks like the image on your very first post wasn’t uploaded to WordPress.com, but to another image host. That’s why it still appears even after deletion of the others.

  It looks like Google does have some of the images cached, so you might retrieve some of them at this link.
