Media disappeared after blog name change?

  Hi – I have a free account on wordpress.com, and access my blog directly on the site. I changed my theme and my blog address this evening (new year, new blog…) and all the images in my previous posts disappeared! Posts are still there, just no images. All 279 images are still in my media library, but their URLs still indicate my old blog address, and I’m unable to change them to the new one. Replacing images doesn’t seem to work, and everything I find on the support forums involves writing code, using plug-ins, and such that I know nothing about. Please help – I don’t want to have to recreate the whole blog from scratch!!

  I didn’t find any missing images embedded in posts on either krsimages.wordpress.com or krsimages.com. However, there are several broken image links in the footer area and one in the right sidebar area of krsimages.wordpress.com.

  Is krsimages.wordpress.com the site you need help with? If it’s a different site, please give us the address, starting with http:// to make it clickable.

  Thanks all – I think its fixed now. It apparently took a few hours for the URL on the images to change over after the blog name change.
