Media Editing in Post
-
Since upgrading to iPad Air from an iPad2, I can no longer size or delete a photo (media insert) once I’ve added it to my blog post. I used to be able to tap the photo and resize by a percentage amount, or delete it. Now my screen does a quick flash and the photo becomes large and my text in the post disappears. I have a draft post started and can’t design it the way I used to. Is this an iPad issue or WP upgrade? Never had any issues before. My website is http://www.vickiOart.com
Thank you!!

Hi Vicki!
There were some recent changes to the Visual and Image Editor as explained here:
It looks like those adjustments may have impacted the ability to edit an image within a post from mobile browsers. I’ve reported it to our developers and will let you know as soon as I know more.
In the meantime, the best workaround would be to change the height and width using HTML. That can be achieved by adding height and width attributes as demonstrated here:
<img class="alignnone " src="IMG URL" width="610" height="458" />Just to be clear, this would need to be done in the Text editor (not Visual Editor). The difference is explained here:
This isn’t a perfect workaround as it involves adjusting by pixel size and not percentage. I’ll let you know as soon as an easier method is available!

Hi there!
I just wanted to give you an update on the image editing on mobile browsers. This is a known issue and should be fixed in a future update (should go out any day now). A fix is on the way!

Hi!
This should be fixed. Can you give it a try now, and let me know if you’re experiencing the same error?

No error! It allows me to change the size using the Custom Size option and that works great. Thanks so much!
