Media Editing & Video Uploads Viewing

  Please advise
  1. In case I remove the photos from media, will they also be removed from my blog posts.
  2. I loaded a video file created through PowerPoint, thereafter when I try to view the same it downloads the same rather than just viewing…will it be the same for all my viewers

  Yes. Posts and pages only contain links to where the images are hosted in your media library. If you remove the image from the media library, that link will point at nothing.

  Is this video a powerpoint slideshow (i.e. a ppt/pptx extension) or an actual video (mp4, mpeg, avi, etc.)?

  If it is a powerpoint slideshow inserting it will only create a download link.

  To have it actually display you need to embed it using one of the methods describe here:

  Alternatively you can upload it to Youtube (I’ve see PPT slideshows on Youtube, but I’ve no idea how to do that), and embed the Youtube video on your blog.
