Media error occurs when uploading blog from android

    I am experiencing problems when uploading my blogs from my android phone, I keep getting notifications that read ‘Error occurred while uploading media’

    I have tried to upload from my iPad as well but the blog isn’t in drafts. I am actually missing 3 saved drafts on my ipad

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    A few follow-up questions:

    1. Can you confirm that you’re connected to either wireless or a data connection?

    2. Can you try “quitting” and then booting up the app on your Android device effectively restarting the app?

    3. For your Android device, does this issue only occur when you’re trying to publish new posts or also when you’re trying to save a post draft from your phone, upload new media items to a post, etc?

    4. On your iPad app, can you let me know the titles of the posts that you’re missing? Also, can you navigate to My Sites -> (Site) -> Blog Posts, and then drag down from the top to update the list?

    Thanks for ur reply, in answer to ur questions …
    1: internet connection very good
    2: I have logged out & in again on android, no change. I also reinstalled the android app and am now having same probs as ipad! I have lost my drafts! Hope this is reversable!
    3: the problem on android was only when publishing new posts
    4: Titles I’m missing… 1) Un named 2) Does exercise help with MS pain & fatigue there was another 2 but I can’t remember titles!

    I have just logged onto wordpress on my ladptop & I have lost my saved drafts! The most important one to me is called ‘Does exercise help with MS fatigue & pain?’

    I just tried to do a new post from my android & I’m still unable to post. That has now saved to draft on android but nothing showing on iPad app or on main wordpress im using now from laptop

    Hi Vix,

    Can you grab some screenshots of the tabs within the app on your iPad for me? I’d like to tackle that one first and then figure out what’s up with the Android app. For your iPad, you can take screenshots of the screen by pressing the “Home” and “Lock” buttons at the same time. Could you take screenshots of the following?

    1. The “Me” tab

    2. The “My Sites” tab

    3. The Blog Post list for the site you’re having the most trouble with (click (Site Name) -> Blog Posts)

    Those lists seem to match up. Can you try the following?

    1. Create a new draft post on your desktop. Title it and save as a draft

    2. On your iPad, pull down on the post list to refresh the list of posts.

    Let me know if the draft doesn’t appear!

    The only way we would lose a draft completely is if you weren’t connected to the internet for some reason (so the draft was only saved locally on your Android/iPad) and then you removed the app. Removing an app removes all local app data. Let me know if the iPad steps work though! We’ll make sure this gets up and running.
