Media files issue moving between wordpress.com blogs

I want to move entries from a wordpress.com blog to another wordpress.com blog
I followed the instructions from http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
There says: “After you upload the file, you can choose the option to Download & import file attachments if you want to move your media files.”
Well, I never saw that option, instead said “If you exported your site’s media files, we’ll import those for you automatically.”
At the end of the process I received an email saying that “Your WordPress import was successful.”Everything was done but the image galleries and slideshows are not showing in the other blog. Why is this happening? How can I export media files?
In few words: Is there a way to export and import image galleries between wordpress.com blogs?

That refers to the import file. When you import the export file there is an option and a prompt is provided that you can checkmark to answer yes to indicate your want the attachments ie. the media files (images) to be included.

Thanks timethief, but is what I’m trying to explain:
When I imported the export file no one option or check mark appeared, only the text:
“If you exported your site’s media files, we’ll import those for you automatically.”
So that’s my doubt:
Why this attacments checkmark option didn’t appeared?
And why media files didn’t was uploaded automatically as the message said?Thanks a lot! I hope exists a solution for this issue.

In the past there have been problems with importing Galleries between blogs and I do not know to say if this problem has been resolved.

hi, I have the exact same problem. there is no option to “Download and Import file attachments” rather I am simply notified that “If you exported your site’s media files, we’ll import those for you automatically.”
Unfortunately, my photos were not imported.

gtourv and abelamerikaban, can you please email support@wordpress.com with information about your specific blogs (which one you are exporting from and which one you are importing to).
This kind of issue is best handled by email when we can fully investigate.
