Media Gallery space

    I deleted some .jpg images from my gallery I wouldn’t be using anymore. I needed space. I found that these images were then deleted from my old blogs. I don’t want that. Do I just keep buying more space into infinity? Please advise

    Hi there,

    Any files that you upload and use in a blog post or page do have to be kept in your media library. If you delete them then they will disappear out of that post.

    Over time you will indeed eventually need to purchase additional disk space if you upload a lot of high definition photos in your blog. Alternatively, you can reduce the quality of the images and that will extend how long the space will last you! :)
