  Hi, if I want to “lighten” my media library, and delete old pictures and files, will they only be deleted from my library, or will they be deleted from the blogs and pages that I have used them on as well? Thanks, AC

  If they have been inserted into posts or pages, or into the sidebars, then deleting them will make them disappear from those places and you will have broken links that you will then have to edit out.
