  Say I have 100 photos in my media library but only 80 of those are actually used in various blog posts….is there a way that I can have WordPress automatically select all un-used image files so I can delete them? If not, that would be a really helpful feature to have. ‘select all unused’

  Hey there,

  It’s currently not a feature to do this automatically, but it is possible to see where an image has been uploaded to.

  If you go to: https://creativemusingssite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php > and click on an image > ( https://creativemusingssite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php?item=4526 ) you should see an “uploaded to” info box in the top right hand corner.
