  I have a wordpress.com blog. If I delete photos from the media library (to clear space for ongoing posts) will those images remain in prior posts?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Those images will disappear from your posts and be replaced with a broken image icon. If you need additional space, you might consider the Extra Storage upgrade: https://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/extra-storage/

  Thank you…I won’t delete from the library!! the link you sent indicates gradients of upgrade. To complete my current project I would want to add the smallest, say 10 GB (I really don’t need that much). On the link it would appear to be a cost of $20/yr. However, the only upgrade offered when clicking “get more storage” is a $99/yr option.

  you have a new account, that makes you special in that you need to buy the $99.-/yr bundle to get the 10GB storage – that is the new WordPress.COM policy since I think Sept 1, 2014 if my memory is correct, if you have a very good friend with an older account you can add them to your site as an Admin and they can buy the upgrade for $20.-/yr – – sorry – the change was not a popular one with many of us here in the forum

  Thank you both!! I first figured out how to remove the pictures that had not been attached. But that wasn’t enough so I bought the upgrade. Will now work on the getting video’s into the posts.
