  When I View an image or document it appears as a post first, then I need to click on it. I’m trying to put PDFs that can be called as a link from an image and have it open immediately. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  Make sure you are linking to the ‘media file’ in the Attachment Display Settings section.

  I.e. go to media lib > click on item > settings on lowerright-hand side

  You might be linking to ‘Attachment Page’ instead, which will direct you to a page that looks like a post.
