  in media library how do you change url of item?

  Hi,

  The files URL for files uploaded into WordPress.com are not editable. There are in the fixed format of <URL>/<year>/<month>/<filename>.

  Hi there,

  staff-dexter is correct the URL is not editable. It is the actual location of your media item.

  If you would like a different URL then the media item could be to be moved to a different location and the media item in the new location (URL) would need to be uploaded to your site.
