  Is it true that I can no longer add new photos to my media library in order to insert on specific webpages? I have paid $48 for a new WordPress site.

  Hi there, which of your WPcom websites has this issue so we can take a look?

  In general, sites on the WPcom Personal plan have a 6GB storage capacity which is counted against media files. If you’ve reached your storage limit, you’ll need to upgrade to the Premium plan, which has 13GB of storage. https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Keep in mind that if you are resizing and optimizing your images prior to uploading them to your WPcom website, even the free plan’s 3GB should last you a very long time. https://en.support.wordpress.com/media/image-optimization/
