Media library consumed space
-
I’ve deleted the stuff in my media library, but there’s still “567.0 kB used, 3.0 GB (100.0%) upload space remaining.” Why is that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Note this:
The amount of free space in your blog may not change for a few minutes, so please be patient.
The amount of space freed may not drop until 500kb of images has been deleted. (1% of the 50mb is 500kb)
Images that have been cached by search engines cannot be affected by us. Contacting Support about this cannot get the image removed.from:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-files/I’m curious. Why did you decide to delete all the pictures from your blog / did you understand that deleting “stuff in my media library” would remove the pictures on your blog?
567kb is a very small part of the 3 GB you are able to use here on wp.com. I’m curious. Are you worried about using all the storage space too quickly or what?

Thanks for the info. I was testing themes. The stuff in my media library are custom headers that I’ve decided to get rid of.
