Media Library Disappears in 5 Seconds

  I’m experimenting with making a photo gallery. After inserting a gallery block on a new page I click Media Library from which to select photos. The Add to Gallery page appears with the Media tab preselected and I see my media library and thumbnails of my photos. In about 5 seconds the library disappears and the page instead displays No Items Found. This is entirely repeatable with both Chrome and Safari. I’ve made a gallery this way recently without this problem. Is there something wrong with WordPress right now??

  Something else that’s also happening… if I click on an image quickly to add it to the gallery, before the media library disappears off the screen, it gets added to the gallery in the first position at top left, but it looks like every other photo in the media library is also added to the gallery!

  This really seems like some bugs are running wild on the WordPress system.
