Media Library full

I’m trying to upload photos from my pc to my post. I don’t wish to store them in Media Library at all, but they always go there whatever I do. Now Library quota is used up and I can no longer insert photos into my new posts without deleting photos from my earlier ones. How can I by-pass Media Library?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
How can I by-pass Media Library?
You can’t. An image uploaded and attached to a post or page, or used in a header, will be included in the media library. Delete it from the media library and it will disappear from the post, page, etc.
Unattached images displayed in posts or pages must also appear in the media library.

That’s an interesting site Peter. I think that you could have had many more images in your media library if you had optimised them for the web before uploading. At first glance, the images on your site look quite small, but clicking on them and they become huge (and have correspondingly large file sizes). You might have to sacrifice a little bit of quality for quantity.

@peterturner2003 it looks like you received that same advice nearly a year ago from auxclass https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/whats-the-max-number-of-photos-i-can-upload-from-my-harddrive?replies=4#post-2451168
The Twenty Fifteen showcase page show that the featured image should be
Featured Images are 825 wide by 510 high
More about using this theme: https://wordpress.com/themes/twentyfifteen/
Besides the options given above, you can purchase the Premium upgrade at US$99/year to get an additional 10GB of storage space (and again resize and optimize before you upload to maximize your space). More about plans here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Also, Mesh embeds can be used here on WordPressdotcom: https://en.support.wordpress.com/mesh-embeds/
As well as CloudUp embeds https://en.support.wordpress.com/embedding-media-with-cloudup/
And flickr embeds https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/flickr-photos/
Unfortunately however none of those services can be used for headers, featured images or images that appear in the WordPress Gallery feature. Those images must be uploaded directly to your WordPressdotcom site to work properly.
