Media library image update

I added two images to the media library. Ten minutes later the activity log shows 10 updates to one of the images (ascotallotments.png) but I did nothing that might have generated them. The image seems to display ok and Norton thinks that the image is ok if I save it on my PC. Any thoughts on what might have caused this behaviour

Whenever you upload an image, WordPress automatically creates 4 different image sizes:
- Thumbnail size (150 x 150 pixels)
- Medium size (maximum 300 x 300 pixels)
- Large size (maximum 1024 x 1024 pixels)
- Full size (the original size of the uploaded image)

However, there were 10 image updates and no mention of any updates for the other image. I have subsequently uploaded another image, albeit this is a jpeg, and there is no mention of any image updates.
PS I am not sure that the Jetpack activity log will record the additional images that you mention?
