Media Library ‘Insert into Post’ Suggestion

I submitted a suggestion to support an hour ago to include an ability to perform multiple inserts from within the Media Library. I think this feature is going to be very handy for folks who like me, batch insert many pictures, as quickly and as conveniently as possible. People who do not have fast internet access would welcome and appreciate this feature that allows them to perform a one time ‘insert’
My broadband connection is capped at 512 Kbps and it can be very cumbersome trying to add a number of pictures in succession like I did with my recent ‘Lexus Golf Classics’ and previous ‘A Resort in the Mist’ posts:
The ability to perform multiple uploads through CHOOSE FILE is great and I think extending this feature to Media Library would complete the user experience.

i personally think this idea is super good
when i have tons of pictures to upload and i want them to show individually i tend to take lots of time to slowly insert into post

I resize my images to 470px wide and try to keep them to 75KB or smaller. I will usually end up with a folder of images that I’ve picked for the blog. Being able to batch upload them now is simply a great first step to see that the WordPress interface has improved in the right direction. Support has acknowledged the idea and let’s see how soon if/when it gets implemented.
