Media Library needs to be updated – from where it pulls

  I have updated my iPhoto library – the old file was corrupt so I created a new one. How do I change my media library settings so that WordPress will pull the photos from the NEW library file, vs the old one? Also, if I permanently delete photos in my library, will they be removed from the posts to which they are attached? If so, how do I upgrade media storage space for new photos? Finally, I am no longer able to view a post before it’s published. What is going on here…it tells me there is an error and that I can only preview. Thank you.

  I’m not sure that I understand the question. The media library uploads whatever file you select or drag to it. If you are dragging the correct file, then the correct file should be uploaded.

  The media library can also “grab” from iPhoto. The problem is that it’s grabbing from my OLD iPhoto library. Is there a way to change the location?

  When you are pulling something from iphoto into the media library, can you give me a step by step of exactly what you are doing? Are you choosing the file? Are you dragging/dropping? etc.

  I “Choose” file. Then I go to the iPhoto library. There are no options to change from the old library to the current one.

  I’m afraid that WordPress.com doesn’t control that aspect of things. That “chooser” window is controlled by your operating system.
