Media Library? No photo visible

    Could someone please explain why I can not insert photos onto my blog? They have been crunched, they are on my Media Library, but only the file names are visible, not the images themselves. I have done this a few times and the image shows up, but I don’t know why. This is my first day on WordPress and I am less than pleased. Is this normal? I would be very happy if someone could explain to me what I might be doing that could be causing this problem.
