I don’t see any history of media deletions on the site you listed.
What is the URL of the site with the problem?

Yeah, we definitely have no history of media deletions there.
Are you sure you have the correct site? I see several under your profile.
Also, did these missing images appear on public posts or pages? If so, do you remember the titles of those posts or pages?

OMG, just found this morning that twelve of the missing photos have been moved to my other site at https://taxtwomiles.wordpress.com/ , no I didn’t move there.

We don’t have a way to move media between sites, and based on the log it looks like they were uploaded there, perhaps by accident.

What is the URL of the page with the missing photos?

I appreciate your great help.
1. MOVED PHOTOS:
On Jan.9’22, I’ve completed publishing the site w/ url https://hoamotoihotline.wordpress.com/ to show to my HOA. It is an important accounting info site, I paid extra caution to perfect without mistakes.
At that time, the photos were all there (Jan’21 to Dec’21 Invoices and Checks photos.
Now all Checks photos are found in other https://taxtwomiles.wordpress.com/, which doesn’t need for any of the checks photos , and rest of the Invoice photos are no where to find.2. URL OF MISSING PHOTOS PAGE?:
I clicked https://hoamotoihotline.wordpress.com on this chat.
Are you able to see the site and see no photos are there just like me? -
Hm, ok yes, I do see that now.
The images are gone from the site though, and the only way to transfer them to another site would be via export/import which is a very intentional manual process.
If they’re on the other site, I recommend downloading them from there and re-uploading them to the desired site.

Ok, I understood and appreciate your help this time and will download/re-upload, and also study how to back up too today.
Thank you very much. Motoi -
Mr.Macmanx~(^o^)
I did find the reason of missing, lol !!!
I had “uploaded from my desktop file” instead from the Media Library.
And even worse, I had “relocated the file after that” !!!
I am so sorry disturbed you whole day for my stupid work, I sincerely apologize to you.
I thank you very much. Motoi -

Oh, second thought, now I’ve tested some uploading, and the photos are recorded in the Media Library automatically.
Oh well, I am back to the starting point of why I had had the missing issue again. -
Ok, 3rd and conclusive thought.
During the problem period, the screen sometimes took long or never loaded, and one time got a message saying systems error w/ “drop us a note” sign. I was going to click later and missed, that’s why I used this chat site instead.
So, afterall, I would conclude that the whole reason seems to be the temporary glitch on the system.
Thank you very much for your help. M
