Media library problems

I set up a blog a few days ago and had no problems. Photos in the media library have now disappeared. I’ve checked on other computers and devices and the same problem exists so I don’t think it’s a browser issue. There are no videos or anything other than photos linked to the blog. Is this linked to the problem being looked at by WordPress issued by Jackiedana six days ago? Can anyone help?

Did you delete any images from your Media Library at all?
Please tell us:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/Staff have made some changes and I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Thank you for your response. On this laptop at least I’m using IE11. I did delete an image from the gallery widget that I’m using but the gallery had already disappeared at this point. I have tried adding to the gallery just to see if the images would appear but they haven’t. If its of any help I can upload images from the sidebar tab but not from the prompt on the page. Clicking on the gallery wording on the sidebar doesn’t help show the images.
