Media Library – Slideshows

    I have used some photos from my media library using slideshows, but how do I know which photos I have used please? I would like to delete some of the unused to create more space

    When you look at your entire media library, check the column “Uploaded to”. That column will display which post or page an image or other media file is “attached” to. Unless you are using images elsewhere, such as a sidebar, or adding HTML links directly to the image file rather than using the Add Media button, you could probably delete any “unattached” images.

    Please note, however, that deleting these images is permanent. You should verify that you have a copy of these files on your hard drive or otherwise saved before deleting them from WordPress.com.
