Media library thumbnails are not appearing on upload

    Hey guys, I have 2 sets of issues that I have been trying to fix.

    1. For the longest time, the articles that I have published are not displaying the images in the footer when I am being recommended new articles to read on the live website. I am unable to fix this issue.
    2. Besides, this a new problem has just started where my thumbnails in the media library are not showing. I have tried to fix it by uninstalling the plugins & also by changing permission inside the upload folder from 644 to 755. But it has not worked yet.

    Please assist.
