Media library wont open

I’ve been creating my website for 2 months now, but yesterday the media library stopped working. I can’t open it, and whenever I add new images to a page, it stays loading indefinitely.
I’ve read that sometimes it’s a plugin issue, but I haven’t installed any so far. I don’t think I can install them either, since I’m working with wordpress.com.
I’ve also found that it could be a theme issue. This is the first time I’ve had this problem after 2 months. Maybe I have to “update” the theme? I don’t know how though…
The theme I’m using is the sketch theme.Can anyone help me find a solution?

Hi there! Thank you for the details. I see the site you are working on. I don’t see any signs of hitting any storage limits whatsoever, so what I’d like to have you try next is the following:
1. Clear your web browser’s saved cache: https://wordpress.com/support/clearing-your-sites-cache/
2. Once you have done that, see if it fixes the issue. If not, please try quitting and restarting your web browser.
3. If the first two steps do not help resolve the issue, try logging into your WordPress.com account from a second web browser and seeing if the problem persists there.
