Media Mess

What have you done?
I add a lot of book covers and movie posters to my posts. When I access the media on the new configuration, I get every picture I ever downloaded. How can I find new stuff I’ve copied so I can add it to a post. I’ve been deleting like crazy for fifteen minutes and have hardly made a dent. You’ve certainly made a mess of things and made it harder than ever to do anything.
What’s up with that?

Your most recent, uploaded images should show at the top of the Media Uploader.
You can also get to the images that were uploaded to the Post or Page you are in by using the dropdown arrow above the images. The current choices are “All Media”, “Uploaded to this post”, “Images”, “Audio” and “Video”.
As far as deleting, if you are using those images in posts why would you delete?
