Media not loading

Media is not loading on our site, tvruckus.com.
When I try to insert a photo in the body of a blog, it just gives me a link. When I try to remove, it leaves blank spaces in the body. And, although the featured photo shows that it has uploaded, it does not show on the front page as it should.
Please help ASAP.

I am not getting a satisfactory answer in the forums.
Our site has had problems with photos today. We have done nothing different uploading photos, but they are not uploading correctly. If you will look at http://tvruckus.com/2014/05/28/fx-tops-hbo-for-critics-choice-television-award-nominations/ you will see that the photo has white space around it, in both the featured photo and in the article itself. That white space is not present in the photo uploaded.
If you will look at this page, http://tvruckus.com/2014/05/28/dual-survival-will-fans-approve-of-joes-new-partner-matt-graham/ you will see that there is no featured photo. On the publishing page, it does not show a featured photo has been loaded. But, if you click the “featured photo” link, it shows that one has been loaded. I have used this same photo in the past with no problems. It has been in our library. I tried using it in the body of another article today, and it just showed a link–no photo, just a link. Then, when I tried to remove it, it left a bunch of white space.
The photo that is in the body of that same article was placed there by a staff member in the forum, because, again, when I tried using the “Add Media” tool, it just placed a link. Even now, it is not right–you can see on the publishing page that it is HUGE and has no info under it. The staff member said the code for it was not right, and made some technical suggestions, basically about correcting the code. Now, I use WordPress.com because I know nothing about code; I wouldn’t know if it was wrong if I looked at it, much less know how to fix it!
The thing is, there are others in the forum having this same issue. There has to be a problem somewhere in the “Add Media” and “Featured Photo” processes. We’ve never had a problem with adding photos; it cannot be a coincidence that we are having this issue today when others are as well. And,the fix has to be something other than suggesting we write our own code, because that is not an option for many/most of us using this service. Incidentally, I tried using the photo that the staff member “fixed” earlier in another article, and once again, it just gave me a link, no photo.
