Media problems

  I have gone through the last half day in this forum. There seems to be several people with media upload problem. I posted about this problem yesterday without repsonse. Is this a a general WordPress problem or is it a specific blog problem. Also I have no format buttons on the top of the page…editing is a little difficult.
  I really need to add media to a page…I have some colleagues waiting for this information.
  Any assistance will be appreciated.
