media setting for image sizes

  in the media setting i have my medium image size set to:
  max width=197 max height=245.

  My large image size is:
  max width=502 max height=627.

  BUT when I go to insert an image into my post the options for medium and large sizes are:
  medium(195×245) & large(242×303)

  I created my site using artisteer could there be something changing it in the themes function.php file?

  On WordPress.com, we can use only themes available on the dashboard under “appearance” and we have no access to php files.
