Media Timed Out

  Hi there, I am using the WordPress app for my classroom blog which consists of mainly photos and captions. Everytime I try to upload multiple photos at one time (maximum 10 at a time), I keep receiving the message saying ‘Media Timed Out’ which can be quite frustrating as I then have to check which photos didn’t work and reload them.

  Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a problem that you guys have to sort out?

  Are the photos optimized for the web and shrunk to appropriate resolution and pixels before uploading? How big are the photo files?

  @raincoaster, I have done no shinking/resizing as I am doing it though my iphone – I am simply selecting the photos from my camera roll. Is there a way of shinking the photos on my phone before uploading?

  Yes, most photo manipulation apps will resize them for the web. If you’re not resizing them, that’s the problem. They’re way too big and will eat up your storage.
